MAY IN BIKENRIDGE
Ah yes, May-uary in the Mountains. It’s a perfectly choreographed dance between Spring and Winter. Winter leads for days on end and just when you have given up hope, Spring bounds in bright and warm and takes the stronghold just long enough to remind us that, yes, Summer is on the way.
May is a great time to GET READY and kick start your way into June. Not super stoked to jump on that old Blur? Are you looking for a better bike fit? What about you, Mr. Couch-potato? Are you ready for that first big ride? We are here to help!
COLORADO BIKE EXPO
The Colorado Bike Expo, May 13 – 15 it’s a two day bike event and consumer show that celebrates all things cycling and Colorado; pairing industry professionals, recreational riders, biking enthusiasts and utilitarian’s with the latest products, consumer trends, screaming deals, organized rides, clubs & teams, advocacy groups, and cycling destinations. PLAN FOR JUNE
Plan to spend a weekend or a week in Breckenridge. June starts out right with Breck Bike Week: the community’s favorite cycling activities – The Poker Ride, mountain and road demos, skills clinics, and guided tours – packed into a few days of fun; and Wave: Light+Water+Sound – cutting-edge works of contemporary public art featuring illuminated sculptures, projections and digital art on the riverfront. And that is just the beginning!
