USA Pro Challenge route in 2014
The fourth edition of the USA Pro Challenge starts Aug. 18 in Aspen with a circuit race. Stage 2 goes from Aspen, over Independence and Cottonwood passes, and through Gunnison before finishing at Mt. Crested Butte. Stage 3 is from Gunnison to 10,790-foot Monarch Mountain ski area, marking the first mountaintop finish for the race. Stage 4 is a circuit race in Colorado Springs. Stage 5 will go from Woodland Park to Breckenridge. Stage 6 will be a time trial up Vail Pass.

• Stage 1: Aug. 18 — Aspen and Snowmass Village Circuit Race
• Stage 2: Aug. 19 — Aspen to Mt. Crested Butte
• Stage 3: Aug. 20 — Gunnison to Monarch Mountain (mountaintop finish)
• Stage 4: Aug. 21 — Colorado Springs Circuit Race
• Stage 5: Aug. 22 — Woodland Park to Breckenridge
• Stage 6: Aug. 23 — Vail Individual Time Trial
• Stage 7: Aug. 24 — Boulder to Denver
