2.4 mile loop, easy to moderate with some climbing.
Good to Know: A Favorite Ride. It can be extended by looping in Turk’s Trail or if you start your ride from Main St. Breck. It usually dries out in June. Expect pedestrian & dog traffic.
Parking: From I70 drive south on Hwy 9 to Breckenridge. Turn left (east) on Wellington Rd. and proceed to the last stop sign. Veer Right on French Gulch Rd. and proceed approx. 1.5 miles to the B & B trail head parking on your right.
Description: A great ride if you don’t have much time or just need a little workout. Do a couple of laps for a longer ride. B&B trail terrain is fun, wide and rolling. Moose have been sited in the area so be aware. You will come upon the historic Reiling Dredge. A fragile monument of Breckenridge’s mining history. As you cross over the wood bridge, the trail will intersect French Gulch Rd. Cross over the road to the Reiling Dredge Trailhead parking area. The Minnie Mine Trail is located in the north-west end of the parking area. Stay right as the trail climbs to the Minnie Mine site. You will find Great views and historic information at the mine site. The trail levels out above the mine site. At the tailing field take a sharp left turn downhill to connect to lower Minnie Mine. Lower Minnie Mine can go all the way to French Gulch Rd., but for the purpose of this ride you will take your first sharp right at X10U8. X10U8 (X-10-U-8) is a fun downhill all the way to French Gulch Rd. You will see the B&B trailhead parking across the street.
