8+ mile ride, Easy, Downhill, Out & Back, Paved Bike Path
Good to Know: This is a good early season road ride. Great novice ride. Expect Bike/Pedestrian traffic which can be heavy on the weekend. Be ready for weather.
Parking: From I-70, drive south through Breckenridge on Hwy 9. You can park at Kingdom Park & Breck Recreation Center Parking lot and catch the Bike Path there along the Blue River. To return to your car, you will need to either catch a bus in Frisco back to Breckenridge or make your ride “out & back” and return to your car.
Description: This is a good ride for families and recommended by many of the bike shops. It is a beautiful ride next to the Blue River with mountain view in the distance. The terrain is rolling for the first 2 miles and then flattens out near Coyne Valley Road. There will be some construction just beyond Tiger Rd. for the Summer of 14′. A the 6 mile point just past the High School, there are a few hills and rolling terrain with good views and then the decent into the Town of Frisco. Follow the signs to Main Street, Frisco and to catch the Summit Stage.
